    This luxurious Persian rug dating back to circa 1930 belongs to the Sultanabad type, famed for their brilliant colors and exquisite designs. The frame, while not as complex as the central field, contains equally beautiful composition and tastefully contrasts with the opulence of the main pattern.     The antique Indian Agra rug dating back to circa 1900. Its main field displays a faded grid of palmettes and vines. The whole is bordered by an ample cartouche frame with palmettes and angular leafy vines.
